Kimmi Designs is based in the Seattle area. Her passion for designing clothes started at an early age. She learned to sew from her grandmother, and she uses her love of fashion and design to create garments that tell a story. She took her love of fashion and went to fashion design school, which helped sharpen her skills. She focused on reclaiming and recycling fabrics to invigorate them and give them a new life. She sources as many recycled materials as possible, ensuring that each garment is one-of-a-kind. With a passion for sustainability, Kim is on a mission to transform discarded materials into wearable art.

She personally forages local landscapes for organic materials, preserving plant spirits in cloth. The process involves soaking fibers in a mineral bath, decorating with fresh flora, and bundling for hours of steaming, resulting in unique, hand-dyed pieces. Sandra advocates for slow, sustainable fashion, emphasizing the spiritual connection and healing when wearing nature-infused garments. Tinarie Eans, a 5th generation artist and seamstress, was immersed in art early on. She began making her own clothes at age 12, throughout her school years and in her 20’s. She spent thirty years producing art in various mediums for both wholesale and retail sales before earning a masters in education. She has dabbled in costuming over the years, winning multiple contests and her unique fashion has been professionally published a multitude of times. Tinarie Creations is her culminating life project. It is her goal and passion to bring the many bold and beautiful creations that live in her heart and mind’s eye into the fashion world.
